The Department has a well equipped Laboratory and a group of staff to cater to the needs of  Engineering Graduates.  The objective  of  the Department is to make the students strong in fundamental Physic. The  department posses many modern equipments.

The Department offers a programme meeting the needs of students pursuing engineering degree. Chemistry, as a pure science ,seeks to describe and make  comprehensible the nature and transformations of matter. As an applied science, it provides society with knowledge and tools to achieves its material purpose.

The  Department  of Mathematics  handles  courses  from  the  first year. This Department has engaged the services of faculty specialised in applied mathematics so as to provide the necessary technical basis to the study of Mathematics.

To meet the growing global demands, English-classrooms at SSMCE  have been  redesigned  to  become  situation-based  and  learner-oriented. To  further  accenture and enhance the performance level  of our students, a language  laboratory is functioning. The laboratory has a collection  of  learning materials  which can cater to the needs of different levels of students. The software available in our lab can also help our students to prepare for competitive examinations.
