SSMCE encourage students to be healthy in body and mind. Sports provide an excellent opportunity for students to interact with each other, develop true sportsmen spirit and also help them stay healthy. The students of SSMCE are divided into four different groups and reshuffled every year so ad to develop a sense of comradeship and kind ship. The students participate in clean and fair voting to select their captains and vice captains. The staff-incharges of the various teams also help them out in this process. Our students have represented for south zone inter university tournaments and bagged medals & trophies in various sports and games.  Conducted zonal and Inter zonal tournaments in various games.
