d) Involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/ improvements.

Faculty and students are fully involved in the improvement of the college in academic and other related matters. They are asked to give suggestions and ideas during the various meetings conducted at department level and at college level.  The suggestions and views are analysed and valuable suggestions and ideas are implemented.  The meetings conducted at various levels are as follows:

Meetings conducted at college level.

  1. Directors meeting once in 15 days.
  2. HODs meeting once in a month
  3. All faculty meeting once in three months
  4. Quality forum meeting once in three months (staff and students representatives)

Meetings conducted at department level

  1. Class committee meeting
  2. Department staff meeting

Suggestion boxes were kept at prominent places.  Suggestions received from students/staff through suggestion boxes are looked into and the useful suggestions are implemented.

Feed back proforma is obtained from student once in a semester. Corrective measures were taken where more than 15% of the students assessed a particular facility/entity as ‘Bad’.

A Grievance Redressal committee headed by a Lady faculty is functioning in the college to look after the grievances of students/staff if any.  The committee meets at regular intervals and also as and when the need arises.
