- First year MBA students won prizes in the event Ad Zap at National Level Inter-Collegiate meet – Gallant ’08 organized by Vysya Institute of Management studies Salem on October 16th 2008.
- Final year MBA Students has participated and secured second prize in Ad-Zap (Creative advertisement ) and Quiz program organized by Sathyabama university, Chennai on 24th February 2009.
- First year MBA students won prizes in the event Prompt Game at National Level Inter-Collegiate meet – Batten’09 organized by M.P.N.M.J Engineering College, Chennimalai, Erode February 24th 2009.
- Final year MBA students won the prizes in Corporate Show and Creative Advertising in the National Level Management Meet’09 at Sasuri College Of Engineering, Erode March 12th & 13th 2009.
- Final year MBA students won prizes in the event Best Management Team at National Level Inter-Collegiate Professional Meet – DHRITI’09 organized by Sona College of Engineering, Salem March 17th 2009.
- First year MBA students won prizes in the event Mock personality & Ad Zap at National Level Inter-Collegiate meet – Gusto Grest ’09 organized by Sri Venkataswara college of engineering & Technology, Thirupachur on April 09 2009.

| ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL (EDC) |

Our college has been selected by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India, New Delhi as Nodal centre to establish an Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) in our institution.
The purpose of this centre is to carryout the objectives and activities of National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) in setting up institutional mechanisms which could act as support system for Technocrat Entrepreneurs in this region. It is our endeavor to create awareness and spread Entrepreneurship culture among the students, educated youth and the public at large in this Textile cluster of Tamilnadu to meet the challenges posed by the current era of Economic Liberalization, Privatization & Globalization (E-LPG). |

- Organized a Workshop on Export Financing for the Cauvery Hitech Weaving Park investors and our MBA students on 17th Feb 2006.
- Organized a Workshop on Export Marketing for the Cauvery Hitech Weaving Park investors and our MBA students on 9th Nov 2006
- Every year EDC organizes Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) for our final year engineering students.
- Organized Workshop on Basic Computer Training Program for the educated and unemployed youth and also for home makers from 15 to 22, May 2006.
- Organized a Mega Agricultural Exhibition AGROTECH -2007 in association with Tamilnadu Agricultural University (TNAU) on Jan 05,06 & 07 2007 for the benefit of Farmers.
- Organized a Workshop on Basic computer Training to the employees of Tamilnadu Electricity Board (TNEB).
- Organized a Workshop on Feasibility Report Preparation for entrepreneurs and students on April 30, 2007.
- Organized a Catering Course for Homemakers from 16 - 18 May 2007.
- Organized a two days workshop on Textile & Management Training Program for entrepreneurs from cholopur, Maharastra on Sep 25th & 26 2007.
- Organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) for the final year students on Sep 27 – 29 & Oct 03-12, 2007.
- E-week is celebrated by conducting various programs like Guest Lecture, Business Quiz & Paper Presentation on 07th & 08th February 2008.
- Organized a Certificate course on Tailoring for the members of Self Help Group (SHG) Komaraplayam on February 21st – 23rd 2008.
- Organized a Certificate course on Cooking for the members of Self Help Group (SHG) Komaraplayam on February 26th – 27th 2008.
- Organized a Embroidery Course for the members of Self Help Group (SHG) on February 21st – 23rd 2008.

- Awarding Certificates in Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship for the students on 26th June 2009.
- Organised a Faculty Development Program (FDP) for Freshers & Below one Year Experienced Staffs at Kolli hills on 21st & 22nd August 2009.
