The Department has been functioning for the past Eleven years (since 1998) and has distinguished itself by its rapid progress and achievement. It has the spectrum of highly motivated team who dedicate themselves in imparting technical education to the students. The incessantly maintained student-teacher relationship helps in bringing out the latent talent of the students and updates them to evolve as complete professionals. The Department is well equipped with an eminent faculty team who are in constant pursuit of learning recent developments in the field.

The students get trained in using 8 and 16 bit processors and do high frequency signal communication experiments using Klystron and GUNN sources. Latest subjects are incorporated in the curriculum so that our students will be capable of confronting the formidable challenges of the future.

As a part of the curriculum the students are deputed to undergo In-plant training during their vacation with a view to expose them to the industrial climate and to help them learn the practical applications of the theoretical input given in the institution. Memorandum of understanding is signed with multi-dimensional industrial organizations to make the learning process more successful, holistic, logical, self-correctable, flexible and responsive rather than unordered, unplanned, indefinable and wholly intuitive. It also enables the student to execute their Project in their final semester.

All the students are enrolled as member in the Indian Society of Engineers and Technicians at Chennai which aims to promote the values of Engineering and Technology and its applications. It is a non profit educational society in India and is being supported by various professional membership organizations and industries.

The students through our Training and Placement cell have been placed in the prestigious position in both Academic and Industrial fields. Our students undergo rigorous training on curricular and co-curricular activities and are shaped to face the competitive world.
