YRC is the most important constituent of Red Cross Society. This has been designed to involve young people to meet the needs of most vulnerable people within their local communities through various programs.
The objectives of YRC are:
Promotion and protection of Health and life
Selfless service to the sick and suffering
Promotion of national and international friendship
Disaster relief to the victims.
YRC at SSM College of Engineering conducts regularly Blood Donation Camps, Eye Camps, Dental Camps, First Aid training Programs, AIDS Awareness Programs, etc., to rural youths and among the students.
